Haunted Places in Chennai

We all know how crowded and busy Chennai gets during the day? But what happens at night? Do you think paranormal activities happen at night? If you are not sure, check out these places where people are rumored to have seen ghosts. You might lucky and have a first hand experience. Take a look at the following list and feel free to add more places to the list.

Blue Cross Road (Besant Nagar) is believed to be ghost ridden just because of the sheer number of people that committed suicide here. This stretch of road is completely covered with trees with absolutely no light at night.

Adayar Broken Bridge and Banyan Tree in the Theosophical society are considered to be haunted. Rumors has it that many early morning walkers in the Theosophical Society have heard strange noises coming from the tree.

Valmiki Nagar apparently has a house that is said to be haunted by the ghost of the woman who committed suicide there. There are no permanent dwellers due to the presence of this spirit in the house.

i can take you to a house and you can be my guest there. I own the place. Its in Rishikesh, Near Delhi (5 hrs drive). An all expenses paid air trip to this place and back + i'll give your 25k as reward, if you can spend one night in my house there. I will not accompany you, just leave you at the main enterance and pick you up from there, next day morning (if you make it)or have some one carry you out, (if you don't make it)

    4. Done. Lemme give you a heads up on what to expect when you stay there. The air is heavy, it almost feels like you're a bout of asthma. Persistent feeling of being watched and followed. Doors shut in your face and there is a horrible smell that comes and goes on its on. Your mind gets negative, immense anger with an urge to hurt someone even if it's an insect or a rat. You can try all you want but can't leave the house during the night. And the shadows drive you crazy...i'm not talking about normal fear, i mean pure terror...how do i know? I've experienced it. I have just given you a small intro to the experience you'd be having.
So, lemme know when do you want to come...i'll make arrangements...
      Good luck :-)

  9. In the recent few weeks we've been observing paranormal activities in our house, located at Sakthi Nagar, Keelkatalai. Frequently at midnight we can hear sounds of furniture moving in the living room. Initially we thought it was the dogs that sleep in the hall, but when the noises started becoming frequent. We left the dogs out for a couple of days and we could still hear the furniture moving. On checking the last couple of days, we saw that the chairs of the dining table has moved from the actual place. In the last two days, if you are in the living room, you can feel the presence of something at midnight and specially the passage that leads to the rear door of the house. You get a strange feeling. The light refuses to turn on at times in that passage. Not sure about continuing in this place, we've now finalized on another property and should move out in a day or two.
